I want to buy some sets of personalized dog tags from mydogtag.com.
I happened to see some fashion ones that were stainless steel with black silencers, but they were expensive. Then, I found out that you could buy them (cheaply) from a site like this and have whatever you want stamped onto them. I plant to get my favorite quotes and lyrics.
I got to thinking, though, would people in the military find this offensive?
I’m "female," and just happen to have a shaved head.
I plan to wear them outside my shirt, two at a time with that short chain on the second one, but I’m not a poser. I didn’t even realize this was a major fad until I started searching on Google. (By the way, I don’t like the ones with jewels on them and stuff; they’re too "blingy.")
There’s a couple men in the military who go to my college, so that’s part of what made me think about this. I don’t want to insult the military.
Anyway… I want to hear from people that have actually been in or are in the military. What do you think about tags like these? Would you be annoyed or angry if you saw someone like me wearing them?
Does my dog have to wear his dog license? Because I don’t really like him to, it is better with just one tag. (His I.D.) I hate the jingle, so I get tag silencers for his I.D. But he has a circle one, so I can get a tag silencer for it. But the licenses here are in very weird shapes. And all we have for tag silencers are bones, circles, and hearts. The licenses are rectangles, Michigans, triangles, etc.
Does he have to wear it, or is it Ok for me to hold on to it?

Our dogs bark constantly when we are not home and need to do something about it before we drive our downstairs neighbors batty.
